Flow Measurement Instruments
Flow measurement devices are used across industries to measure fluid movement in a system. There are many fluid flow measuring devices, including gauges and monitors, that accommodate different kinds of fluids, including steam, gases, and liquids in a pipeline.
At The Bionetics Corporation, we provide Rheotherm flow measurement instruments, including inline flow meters and flow switches, that provide accurate and repeatable outputs. Featuring no-moving-parts sensor design, these flow measurement devices ensure reliable operation with little or no maintenance. Irrespective of the type of gas or liquid you need to measure or regulate, you will find the right fluid flow measurement devices in our collection.
Our Rheotherm and RheoVac instruments feature a flow sensing transducer and integral or remote electronics with a wide range of outputs, including analog 4-20mA, 0-5vDC and 0-10vDC and digital protocols such as Serial, Modbus, and Hart. We can provide the flow measurement equipment with standard or custom process connections to meet your existing equipment. Our flow monitoring equipment product line has been thoroughly tested to ensure long-term dependability and accuracy through thousands of installations.
Key features of Rheotherm Fluid Flow Measuring Devices:
Our fluid flow measuring devices differ from other devices due to the following features:
- No Moving Parts: Rheotherm flow measurement equipment features no moving parts that help improve the longevity of devices.
- Highly Repeatable Output: These measurement devices offer consistent and highly repeatable outputs.
- Wide Rangeability: Rheotherm fluid flow measuring devices can measure flow rates across a broad spectrum, making them ideal for measurement in low to high-flow conditions.
- Low Maintenance: Fewer moving parts of fluid flow measurement equipment means low maintenance, reduced downtimes, and operational costs.
- Versatile Design: Rheotherm fluid flow measuring devices feature versatile designs to fit various application and installation requirements in gas, liquid, or slurry flow measurement.
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified: These products are ISO 9001: 2015 certified, demonstrating our commitment to quality management standards.

Our low flow meters can measure very low flow liquid rates – from a few gallons per minute to as low as 1 gallon per year (10 cc/day). These low-flow meters can measure slurries, low- and high-viscosity homogenous liquids, including liquid chlorine, magnesium sulfate, sodium hypochlorite, and ferric chloride. Each flowmeter can be configured from various chemically compatible alloys such as, Quartz, Hastelloy, Monel, Titanium, tantalum, Inconel, and Stainless Steel. These low-flow sensors create an unobstructed path, ensuring no contact between the sensor components and fluid. All our low-flow measurement devices offer reliable service in high-temperature, high-pressure, and explosive environments. We can provide standard or custom process connections such as NPT, Tri-Clover, Flanges, or Tube Stubs to meet your application requirements.
Our TU and TUL low flow sensors are perfect for measuring low gas flows, even in challenging conditions with explosive, corrosive, or dirty gases that other metering technologies struggle to handle. Our ultra-low flow meters can work with most gases, including ammonia, butane, ethanol, methane, natural gas, and sulfur dioxide. We provide electropolished sensors to measure ultrahigh purity gases. These inline gas flow meters are often used on small lines (1″ or smaller) with flow rates ranging from 25 SCFM to a few hundred SCFM. In additional to various flow output options, an optional backlit LCD display gives you instant access to several useful statistics, such as current temperature and mass/volume flow rate.
Our insertion probes are made from chemically compatible materials like stainless steel, titanium, and Hastelloy. They offer reliable mass flow measurements for pipes and ducts ranging from 1″ to several feet in diameter. These thermal mass flow meters monitor stack gas, digester gas and vent air. Our thermal mass flow meters are designed for easy installation and provide years of maintenance-free service. They are compatible with most non-condensing gases, including explosive and corrosive gases. The Rheovec™ flow conditioner features a unique honeycomb design that helps eliminate measurement errors that routinely affect ordinary sensors in areas with little or no straight run. We can provide these fluid flow measuring devices with various standard or custom process connections, such as NPT, Tri-Clover, or Flanges to meet the requirements of your existing equipment.
The Rheotherm Model 210 Low Flow Controller measures and controls extremely low flow rates with high accuracy and reliability. These Rheotherm flow meters can be used with most gases and homogeneous liquids with low or high viscosity. The desired flow rate setpoint is set in the flow controller and is easily adjusted by the user at the unit or remotely, and analog output of the flow rate is also available.
These fluid flow measuring devices offer reliable low-or-high-flow indication in liquid or gas service. Flow switches differ from conventional gas or liquid thermal flow meters by activating an output relay on achieving specific flow parameters. Our flow switches have an adjustable set point – a minimum and maximum flow rate. Once the measured fluid reaches this set point, the device transmits a trip signal to another device to modify the flow rate. Our collection features high and low flow switches suited for different applications and environments. Flow switches are those fluid flow measuring devices that are often used as a lower-cost alternative to a flow meter and is used for measuring flow beyond a set point.
RheoVac Multisensor Flow Monitor
The RheoVac family of instruments features advanced multi-sensor flow meters that measure flow, pressure, temperature, and humidity. By leveraging these measurements and an advanced calculation engine, the RheoVac probe separates water and air components, provides detailed outputs, including water mass flow rate, air mass flow rate, humidity, dew point, partial pressure, and other critical process parameters. Our inline flow transmitters will deliver these outputs to your control system over analog 4-20mA, Modbus or OPC protocols. The RheoVac probe offers a comprehensive solution for complex flow monitoring needs such as power plant condenser performance monitoring, industrial drying, evaporation monitoring, vacuum pump capacity monitoring, and more.
Our 45 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of different work environments allow us to solve unique flow challenges that standard inline flow meters cannot address. As one of the most experienced flow meters manufacturers in the industry, we understand that not all applications can be accommodated using existing designs.
